Renaissance style 9′ x 12′ hand-knotted 95% natural silk and 5% wool rug. Exhibited in Venice during the Biennale at the invitation of the European Cultural Centre.
Hand-knotted in Nepal using 300 knots per square inch. Designed by Barbara Barran, this one of a kind piece was based on a mosaic of Deruta pottery using silk for the
design and wool for the grout lines. The rug can be used on the floor or mounted as a wall hanging. A mere 2 mm thick! This rug is museum quality. A special piece for
collectors of art. New, unused.
