1125 Serab 3 ft 8 in x 7 ft 9 in

Serab rugs, produced in Northwest Persia, are noted for their crisp geometric design and drawing, as well as their extensive use of natural camel colored wool (made from walnut husks) as a major ground color in tandem with soft blues, ivory, and warm red tones.  This one is from the first quarter of the 20th century.
