Modernist Carpet by Amoghli

A stunning, very rare carpet from one of the 20th century’s most famous names for Persian carpets, Amoghli. Created by Amoghli the son, as he is commonly referred to, this rug features a fine Persian weave in a European inspired re-interpretation of the tulip designs found in European fabrics of the early 20th century.

This rug is signed in the top right hand corner. Persian modernist carpets were woven in the second half of the 20th century and are extremely scarce. Worthy of any serious collection of carpets.
