“Two Roosters” by Lanvin? Roosters in action were a popular theme made famous by Leger, one surmises that this tapestry was commissioned by the Lanvin interior design department.
 
This is part of a group of modern tapestries that were produced after the second world war in Aubusson as part of a government program meant to re-energize the tapestry making workshops that remained in the area.  
 
Contemporary artists were encouraged to collaborate with workshop artisans to create new pieces of textile are in very limited numbers.
